Join Us

We have a simple and transparent pricing policy. The fees below are annual fees – and our adminstrative year starts on the 1st July. Our Insurance Officer will calculate your pro rata fees. Fees for subsequent years will then be due on the 1st July annually.

£5 per training member (adult or junior)
We accept members from the age of 5. There is no upper age limit but please note that some insurance policies will withdraw certain cover at the age of 70/75 – please ask for details if this might affect you. You pay for all your current members when you join us.

£10 per venue
You pay this fee for each separate location you use for your classes. You will pay for all venues in use at the time of your application.

£15 organisation fee
You might be a single club – or an Association comprising multiple clubs. Whatever the structure of your organisation, you pay this annual fee for your whole organisation..

The Alliance Charter

There are certain obligations and requirements for new member organisations. We try hard to limit bureaucracy – but as a governing organisation we do require compliance in key areas such as coaching, safeguarding, health & safety etc. Our Charter document captures key areas of compliance – and we are here to help and advise you if needed. In line with most organsiations offering insurance for aikido groups, we have to impose certain minimum standards to ensure the health and safety/welfare of participants, coaches and volunteers.
