
SUE WARD FCIMSPA (Ch)
Sue has been active in local sports and martial arts for over 30 years. She co-founded Tenchi Ryu in 1994 and is responsible for strategy and governance. Sue was in the Lead Safeguarding role for the British Aikido Board for many years and now brings her expertise with her to the Aikido Alliance. Sue also chairs the national Martial Arts Safeguarding Group, working alongside Sport England and other key stakeholders.

VINCENT SUMPTER
Vincent started his practice of aikido in Tokyo in 1974, aged 31, during his time working for the British Embassy. In the 50 years that followed Vincent has held many senior positions in the sport – including that of BAB Chairman for many years.

BRIAN STOCKWELL
Brian has been training in aikido since 1964, starting his studies in the Far East whilst in the British Army. He holds various senior coaching and instructing qualifications.
