The Aikido Alliance encourages and supports the reporting of incidents so that we can learn and improve our processes and precedures.
Concerns about abuse and/or poor practice MUST be reported in line with our statutory obligations to safeguard children. Depending on the nature of the concern or allegation, you will report these to your Club Welfare Officer, your Association Safeguarding Officer, the Police, or local Statutory Agencies.
If you cannot contact your Welfare Officer or Association Safeguarding Office then the Aikido Alliance Lead Safeguarding Officer is always happy to help, advise and dicuss any concerns you might have. Sue Ward: 07527 992059 / 01271 343952. sueward.cpo@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: If you think that a child might be in immediate danger then please call 999 without delay. The police will advise you on what action to take.
Details of Association Safeguarding Officers can be found here
