About us

The Aikido Alliance was set up in 2021 to serve as a governance organisation for independent aikido groups in the UK.

Our aim is to offer high quality governance with a “light touch”. All our affiliated clubs and associations remain independent in terms of how they operate (e.g. their syllabus, style and gradings).

The Alliance exists to provide policies and procedures which enable member organisations to implement high quality provision in the following areas:
